New Site(s) Director Biotech Facility

My client is seeking to appoint at directorate level to their manufacturing group. You will have full oversite for a number of facilities with responsiblity via a network of strong manager, for all operations.

The director pilot plant department is responsible
· for 80-100 FTEs working within its organization in 2/3 sites.
· of the budget including CAPEX and operating budget.
· for the implementation of the PD Value Stream.


Minimum Qualifications:
· Studies in cell biology/biotechnology/bioprocess engineering. Minimum of 10 years experience in a biotech GMP manufacturing plant.
· Must have a minimum of at least 5 years experience of leading projects and people in a multi national environment.
· Experience with authority exposition is required.


Activities:
• Define overall program strategy and plan
• Work with line management to define and agree strategies for (Pre)Clinical, Process Development, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (incorporate these into the overall strategy and project plan)


Requirments:

PhD or equivalent level
English (very good verbal and written skills)
German or French – advantageous but not a requirement)
Minimum 10 years experience in relevant pharmaceutical and/or biotech company environment
Experience with product development and/or life cycle management
