Freelance Clinical Contract Manager - Nordrhein Westphalen, Deutschland
Circa 6 month contract with likelihood of extension
Full Time and Office Based

An outstanding opportunity for an experienced freelance with prior working knowledge of the negotiation and maintenance of contracts and or outsourcing. This specialist pharmaceutical company is well established with offices throughout Europe and the US, currently ranked as a top 50 Pharma company globally.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Negotiate the highest quality contracts at the most appropriate financial level with reliable third party vendors
• Lead all interactions between the clinical team and third parties including the initial selection and negotiation process.
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure that trials are met on time and on budget
• Ensure that all company SOPs are adhered to and local legal regulations and GCP guidelines are followed
• Regularly asses vendor performance and participate in opportunities which lead to improvement in effectiveness.

Education and other requirements:

• Ideally 3 years or more (guideline only) experience in contract management in the pharmaceutical industry. • University degree in life sciences preferable, other related areas such as business, finance or possibly legal may be considered.
• A good understanding of the clinical development process
• Fluent in English (German desirable, but not essential)
