Associate Director, Clinical Affairs Europe

100% remote

*Associate Director, Clinical Affairs required by leading Biotechnology firm*

A leading Biotechnology firm currently requires an Associate Director, Clinical Affairs to Act as the representative for the global clinical function. This role will be a manging role and you will lead a team of clinical study leads to help studies on new diagnostic assays and platforms, you could also be required to manage studies directly. You will work across different function with both internal and external stakeholders to make sure studies are delivered and completed on time and within budget

Upon joining, the Associate Director, Clinical Affairs will

– Manage the delivery of all the diagnostic studies in the specific area, and also to plan and budget the studies

– Management / Leadership: you will manage a team of clinical study leads, as well as identify and nurture and grow the team.

– Continuous improvement and evaluation of clinical process to maximise compliance.

In terms of skills, we are looking for Associate Directors of Clinical Affairs who have the below experience

– University degree in health or life sciences

– Minimum 5 years experience with in the vitro diagnostics arena

– Experience of direct line management

– Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%

– Experience managing multiple projects across multiple sites

Desirably, the Associate Director Clinical Affairs will also have knowledge of the in vitro diagnostic industry including product development processes (ISO13485), CLSI guidance, and ICH good clinical practice.
