Reporting into the Senior Communications Director, this is a newly created role and will be part of the UK Communications senior leadership team, focusing on driving the communications strategy across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experience pharmaceutical Communications professional to join a team within an organisation who are committed to addressing patients unmet needs.

Key responsibilities will include:

Digital communications looking at the digital strategy and social media content
PR & media relations; managing external agencies
Working closely with European affiliates and cross-functional teams (Government Affairs, Patient Advocacy) to ensure that internal and corporate reputation is aligned and promoted
Issues/crisis preparedness and management

Required skills & experience:

A track record of delivering communications and communications strategies within the pharmaceutical industry
Digital experience the ability to deliver digital strategy and digital communication activity
The ability to partner with relevant stakeholders
Product/brand communications would be of a strong advantage
