Public Affairs, Patient Advocacy and Communications Associate Director

Reporting into the European Head of Public Affairs, the Associate Director will develop and implement public affairs and policy strategies in France for specified therapy areas.

Key responsibilities will include:

Patient advocacy developing advocacy strategies, working closely with patient groups to serve as the voice of the patients
Communications developing key messaging, liaising closely with the media to position the company and raise their profile in France
Acting as a key representative for the company across relevant platforms and events, to include industry meetings and patient group events
Management of external agencies and department budgets

Please also ensure that you are able to demonstrate the following requirements:

Proven pharmaceutical industry experience, specifically within Public/Government Affairs, Communications and Patient Advocacy
A strong understanding of the policy environment in France
Stakeholder communications experience including experience of disease awareness and thought leadership
The ability to build and maintain relationships with others stakeholders, patient groups and cross-functional colleagues
