Our client, an Edinburgh based Bioinformatics Services company who are looking to bring on board skilled bioinformaticians to match their current service functions, including Microarrays, Proteomics, Metabolomics, Epigenetics, CRISPR & NGS Analysis & Data Mining across a variety of therapeutics including Oncology, GI, Cardiovascular/Metabolomics, Infectious Diseases & Vaccines, Respiratory & Dermatology.
Youll be joining a dynamic biotech who have around 10 years of experience in supporting scientists, researchers & bioinformaticians within data analysis across drug discovery & development, diagnostics, agriculture, veterinary medicine & applied research across a variety of other areas too.. Theyve been growing consistently & are well funded, with experienced & knowledgeable industry leaders at the helm. Theyre able to offer a competitive salary & benefits package to boot.
Theyre currently at around 50 headcount, all on-site in Edinburgh with working from home flex (especially in the current environment) and analyse & interpret genomic/transcriptomic/proteomic/metabolomic data across a variety of public & proprietary platforms.
Youll be involved in all aspects of projects from planning to completion & delivering contracts for both academic & industrial clients, including service & system development for a wide variety of data types including transcriptomics, genomics, epigenetics, proteomics & metabolomics. Theres scope to make a significant contribution to impactful studies & projects, developing your own skill-set, knowledge & experience alongside the company with plenty of avenues for internal career progression.
Their current offered services are tech/platform selection, study design & biostats, data QC & pre-processing, biomarker identification & validation, genomic signature development, data visualisation, preclinical safety & tox, trial analysis and even drug repurposing.
