Clinical Professionals is working with an ever-expanding pharmaceutical organisation whose specialism is vaccines. An opportunity has arisen for a brand manager associate to join their established team on a long-term contract basis.

In this role, you will support the planning, development, execution of marketing activities related to existing and new brands and support the launch of new vaccines. The brand management associate in collaboration with the marketing manager contributes towards the strategic thinking and is responsible for the operational execution of the assigned marketing projects.

The brand management associate together with the marketing manager aims to close collaborate with sales, business operations, communication and medical teams to lead cross-functional activities in support of the marketing strategy. Quality and timely execution of activities is essential KPI.

Key accountabilities:

Marketing strategy
Contribute towards a sound marketing strategy
Supporting the marketing manager build a clear brand vision strategy
Support and collaborate with the marketing manager to collate market data, supporting monitoring key market changes Pro-actively capture policy changes such as annual flu letter changes, Green book chapter 19 changes, competitors list price changes, PHE influenza uptake updates, etc and update relevant marketing material as well as inform relevant colleagues and teams
Collate and monitor competitors marketing activities, marketing campaigns, advertising, websites
Support towards preparation of business reviews with power point presentations and analysis as needed
Flawless communication: Support marketing manager in keeping cross-functional team informed on key market and brands events
Engage and motivate cross-functional team around the brand vision and strategy
Challenge existing thinking and offer new innovative ideas in a collaborative and collegial manner

Marketing activities
Contribute through operational excellence and customers focused activities to enhance the clients profile in the UK market while building the image of a trusted influenza vaccine leader
Together with the marketing manager contribute towards developing the marketing mix plan in alignment with the overall portfolio strategy and the medical activities. Ensure timely execution
Input into the development of clear brand messages to be utilized in all marketing and communication materials
support the development of marketing support material to promote the portfolio to different customers channels and stakeholders, including direct mailers, advertising campaigns, etc.
Support material for the sales and market access teams
Develop awareness material to enhance influenza uptake
Ensure all marketing material and tools achieve high level of customer orientation; ensure strong attention to details to ensure material are always at the highest level of standard and in line with customers needs and ABPI code of practice
Develop knowledge of the key clinical papers and the related clinical evidence
Support organisation of customer meetings, conferences and exhibitions, ad boards etc.
Liaison with Customer Services & Mailing House to support distribution of materials to customers
Preparation of power point presentations, referencing and sources of information
Good understanding of UK ABPI code of practice
support marketing and medical colleagues to ensure flawless and timely approval of materials within ZINC
Support with briefing preparations for external agencies, market research and others
Liaise and coordinate with agencies and external suppliers
A&P tracking, reconciliation of costs with finance; ensure expenses are within budget availability
