Brand Manager – Hertfordshire – Salary up to 65,000 plus benefits

We are working exclusively with a leading Pharmaceutical company with a significant presence in branded generics. The company has over 11,000 people worldwide and is looking to expand further.

The client

This global generics leader has launched 2 respiratory products in the UK with another 2 to be launched back-end of 2020. Pre-launch for these products will be happening in Q1 and Q2. My client is looking for people with a strong background in strategic marketing to drive the pre-launch activities, gearing up for multiple product launches in 2020/21.

As a (senior) Brand Manager you will set the marketing strategies for the portfolio, developing the more junior members in your team and working closely with the sales team engaging in Marketing launches in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

*Marketing plans: Define the marketing strategies and develop the plan to commercialise the brands through promotional campaigns, utilising the full marketing mix.

> Develop market plans for the portfolio
> Ensure the marketing plans are implemented
> Continue brand management of the two established brands

*Team Management: Line Management responsibility of the Junior Brand Manager.
> Develop the current marketing associate
> Develop your own role as to create space for future team/individual growth

*Product launch (branded generics – respiratory)
> Create UK launch plans for 2 new to market products
> Work with the European teams to align launch strategies to launch UK products in new markets

*Budget management: Budgetary responsibilities for ensuring promotional campaigns are within agreed spending limits.
> Support the UK Sales & Marketing Director with forecasting, tracking and Budgeting.
> Provide additional support for the Demand Review for own products monthly and in an accurate and timely manner.

*Sales force engagement: Engaging with sales management and sales teams to ensure promotional campaigns are developed and implemented to ensure optimum results.
