Overview of Job
The role of a Business System & Support Analyst entails working with the Yardi Voyager software, a comprehensive property management and accounting platform used.
In this position, your responsibilities include conducting regular Yardi review meetings with all sites, collaborating with stakeholders to address concerns and gather feedback, and ensuring that the system effectively meets the organisation’s need and supporting end users queries and training.
By excelling in this role, you will contribute to the seamless operation and optimisation of the Yardi Voyager system, ensuring that it still is an asset to the organisation.
Key responsibilities and duties
· System Analysis: You will analyse business requirements and processes to decide how they can be implemented or improved within the Yardi Voyager system. This involves understanding the needs of the organisation, conducting feasibility studies, and finding opportunities for system enhancements.
· System Configuration: You will manage configuring the Yardi Voyager software according to the specific requirements of the organisation. This includes setting up property portfolios, financial structures, lease terms, user access controls, and other system parameters.
· User Support and Training: As a support application specialist, you will aid and troubleshooting to end users of the Yardi Voyager system. This may involve resolving user issues, answering inquiries, and supplying guidance on system functionality. Additionally, you may conduct training sessions or create documentation to educate users on how to effectively use the system.
· System Upgrades and Testing: You will collaborate with Site FC’s team(s) to manage system upgrades and ensure that new functionalities are properly integrated. This may involve conducting system testing, documenting test cases, and finding and resolving any issues or bugs that arise during the upgrade process.
· Data Management: You will oversee data integrity and management within the Yardi Voyager system. This includes data cleansing, data migration, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the platform.
· Reporting and Analysis: You will aid the Finance Report Developer in testing and support reporting development lifecycle.
Previous Experience Required
· Proven business analysis experience within the real estate sector, with a focus on lease management and financial transactions.
· Experience of solid understanding of ERP systems, particularly finance modules.
· Commercially aware.
· Advanced Excel, Power Query and Power Pivot.
· Experience in writing Functional Required Documents and Training Manuals.
· Yardi Voyager experience is highly desirable.
