Corporate Planning & Strategy Manager FTSE 20 Consumer Health/FMCG

Location: East Berkshire

This role provides the opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to work at the leading player in FMCG as a Senior Commercial Leader. You will prepare specific in-depth analysis on different areas of corporate performance, analyse competitor performance and market trends and develop insights from analysis to drive Group business performance.

The individual needs to possess proven commercial acumen from a consulting or business focused finance background. Requires an individual that can create impactful analysis and communication, who can provide key decision making advice to CFO, CEO and Executive Committee.
Primary responsibilities include:

Analysis of quality of current sales performance versus market and profitability drivers
Review longer term trends and model future impact
Prepare insights and scenario planning to board of Group Strategy
Provide insights to drive Group business performance through Analysis of Group Results, Annual Plan and Forecasts
Lead aspects of the Finance Transformation Agenda

Key Experience
Qualified Accountant, with strong post qualified experience in commercial environments.
Consulting experience is preferred
FMCG, Consumer Healthcare or related industry experience is essential
Can manage very diverse groups of people, has strong cultural empathy, excellent interpersonal skills and can build constructive relationships internally and externally, is good at finding a common ground and pragmatic solutions to problems
