A leading medical communications client of mine now has an urgent requirement for a Key Account Manager to come on board and build on the existing relationships with their key wound care accounts.

The ideal Key Account Manager will come from a medical publishing background with experience in medical event sales as well.

Main Responsibilities
To develop sales opportunities for the portfolio through collaboration with clients, sponsors, KOLs and other clinicians
Weekly sales reporting for the UK business
Develop and prepare sales proposals through collaboration with the projects team and management accounts, to ensure profitability is maintained
Act as support to the Wounds group MD to increase profitability and ensure the Wounds group annual EBITDA targets are achieved
To liaise closely with the Wounds group journal and Med Ed teams

Essential Experience
Selling and presenting to senior marketing executives of large multi-national companies
Providing integrated package sales to clients
History of print and online sales experience
Experience in working with Wound care clients and sponsors
Experience in developing projects and business in wound care markets
Event sales experience
Knowledge of the publishing process
Knowledge of medical markets, particularly medical devices
Knowledge of event management to ensure relevant stand/booth sales
Ability to communicate effectively with Med Comms, journal and events team to ensure clients/sponsors expectations are met
