Internal Audit Assistant Manager – EMEA

Location: East Berkshire
Salary: 45,000 – 55,000
Car Allowance: £510 per month
Bonus: 10% with a multiplier

Role Summary:
• To plan, carry out and on occasion lead risk driven assignments on a functional or business unit basis under the guidance of a Head of Audit. The plan should ensure clear objectives and scope are agreed prior to commencement of the audit.
• To discuss findings with management responsible focusing particularly on areas of business risk, control weakness and operational efficiency enhancements.
• To prepare and agree summary reports of findings and recommendations.
• To undertake follow up of significant recommendations to ascertain whether improvement actions have been implemented.
• To be involved in business projects or ad hoc assignments (e.g. self-assessment programmes, investigations etc), contributing risk and control expertise together with analytical and investigative skills.
• Keep up to date with business developments (including acquisitions, new systems, new products and services etc).

Experience/ Qualifications Required:
• A professionally qualified accountant and external audit professional with up to 5 years post qualification experience.
• Prior experience with FMCG or Life Sciences industry will be an advantage.
• You will have a good understanding of risk management and internal control and a well-developed financial and commercial awareness.
• Computer literate with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Track record of auditing application controls.
• Track record of delivery of controls and process audits in an SAP ECC environment, preferably within the Consumer Products and or Life Sciences industries.
• An understanding of core SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, PM) and associated business process and key controls. A general knowledge of APO, GRC, MDM and MDG would also be beneficial.
• Experience of Data Analytics.
• A good grasp of one or more relevant languages would be beneficial.
