Pharmaceutical Medical Advisor – Diabetes
OPPORTUNITY FOR NHS PHYSICIANS WITH DIABETES EXPERIENCE.

Thanks to expansion and multiple promising launches an opportunity has arisen within one of our most reputable clients, a ‘top 10’ Pharma business with an exciting pipeline of products. If you’re looking to make the transition into Pharma, while still having a weekly session within the NHS, then this role is the perfect opportunity to start your Medical Affairs journey.

The role:

The exciting and cross-functional world of Medical Affairs will see you take responsibility for a variety of activities. You will act as a subject matter expert in your field, using your knowledge to bridge the gap between a variety of teams including scientific, commercial and regulatory. In doing so, you have the opportunity to provide strategic input into the Diabetes team, influencing the business approach to the market. A successful Medical Advisor builds a strong network of Key Opinion Leaders and as such you would attend conferences and symposia to meet other experts face-to-face. Eventually you will be trained to be a Final Signatory, a highly desirable status which allows you to sign off promotional material as ABPI code compliant.

Significant expansion of this team has already occurred, with multiple professionals already joining the diabetes team. This role would help lead these individuals and ensure that the content the rest of the team is utilising is medically rigorous.

Requirements:

This role is open to any GMC registered physician with significant and demonstrable experience with Diabetes. Both experienced Medical Advisors, Clinical Development physicians and entry level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Strong commercial acumen and drive to succeed, excellent communication skills and an established understanding of the ABPI code of practice and drug development cycle are desirable.

This role requires right to work in the UK and ability to work onsite in the office.
