Scientific Professionals are looking for a Microbiologist to join a Pharmaceutical Organisation based in Hertfordshire.

Working as part the larger Quality Control team you will have develop into the Microbiology SME on site. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their Microbiology skills and develop their portfolio in other areas.

Role:

Perform Microbiological QC testing on raw materials and excipients
Pharmaceutical product testing, environmental monitoring, water testing, air sampling, bacterial counts, swabbing, bioburdens
Be involved in Microbiological qualification of new equipment
Method development, validation, and optimisation
Identify areas of improvement within the microbiology department e.g. cost saving activities
Contribute to laboratory initiatives and projects
Documentation and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance to cGMP
Ensure near miss incidents, OOS, OOT and deviations are reported and help with investigations

Requirements:

BSc in Microbiology
Experience in working to pharmaceutical GMP
Experience in an array of microbiological testing
