CPL Life Sciences are working closely with a London based Academic institute who are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse on an urgent basis for an initial 3 month contract. Reporting into the Lead Clinic Nurse you will be responsible for undertaking face to face clinics, health surveillance and routine health assessments of both staff and students on site.
Nursing/Midwifery Council registration
Duties and Responsibilities include;
– Undertake routine health surveillance, health screening to address occupational health issues.
– Health assessment for laboratory allergens.
– Undertake clinics on campus as well as responding to clinical queries.
– Provide travel advice and immunisation to staff working and studying abroad.
– Carry out simple assessments of health issues and to provide appropriate and evidence based advice on the impact of work/study on health and health on work/study.
– Undertake pre-enrolment screening for professionally regulated student
– Follow policy and any relevant professional standards, escalating concerns to the OH Consultant Physicians as appropriate.
– To produce activity data for both the team updates and student team leads, as well as data required by the Business and Administration manager for billing purposes.
