A multinational pharmaceutical corporation are looking to hire a pharmacracy digital marketing manager to work in Tadworth, Surrey as part of their massive innovative digital transformation programme.
Job summary
This is a critical role within the digital marketing team, focusing on maintaining and accelerating performance of Viagra Connect brands to HCP and consumer audiences respectively.

The key objective is to manage digital marketing campaigns and technical website projects which deliver critical sales and profit targets and other key performance indicators in line with agreed business objectives.

Key accountabilities:
Develop compliant digital tactical activity for Viagra Connect and execute plans.
Deliver digital marketing initiatives across core channels on time and on budget in collaboration with key agency partners
Optimise the online customer journey of Upjohns web estate using available insight and experience to drive decisions
Maximize return on investment of traffic driving initiatives into both brands
Day-to-day contact for digital marketing agencies supporting the website (media, specialist search, creative, analytics etc)
Oversee delivery and optimisation of email communication working with the Digital Marketing Apprentice
Maintenance of Viagra Connect websites, including page build and basic updates via the content management system (Drupal 8)
Brief and manage the end-to-end delivery of complex digital projects, working closely with our technical development team
Lead the interpretation, reporting and creation of actions using available analytical tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture, Hotjar)
Ensure website remains compliant and any issues swiftly resolved
Suggest futureproof ideas and opportunities where digital can help solve or enhance the service we give to our external/internal customers through internal collaboration (account teams, sales, compliance etc)
Support ongoing development of the Digital Marketing Apprentice

Performance Measures:
Deliver annual net sales and profit targets in line with Budget
Execute agreed digital marketing plans and initiatives to time and budget
Optimise customer journey and demonstrate improvements to conversion rate, journey flow and other key engagement indicators
Effectiveness of cross functional working

Education, skills and experience
3-5 years experience of digital marketing experience (preferably OTC and/or HCP-focused, but not essential)
Track record of developing digital marketing plans and activity across the digital marketing mix (audience comprises of B2B and B2B2C situations)
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to form collaborative relationships
Good communication and influencing skills
Good project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong competence in data analysis and insight development
Strong customer journey optimisation experience and awareness of the various levers required to drive performance
Operates to a good degree of autonomy
Understanding of community pharmacy audience (preferred)
Holds marketing qualification i.e. IDM, CIM etc

Required technical skills
Basic content management experience (Drupal preferred but not essential)
Experience of managing core digital marketing channels (paid search, search engine optimisation, display, video, email etc.) and related agencies
Good working knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture and other website tracking tools
Awareness email marketing tools and how to continually optimize activity (Marketo and Knak preferred but not essential)
Ability to coordinate complex and interrelated projects
Strong sense of urgency and desire to achieve objectives
Culturally flexible with strong interpersonal skills and excellent stakeholder engagement experience
Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
High level of IT literacy in Microsoft office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
