A leading Pharma is looking for innovative ways of working and is leading the way to implement these innovations and embracing new data science skills. Working on a global stage with statisticians and programmers within Research and Development, you will be covering a wide range of therapeutic areas in all stages of clinical drug development and commercialisation.

Your role as Principal Programmer will take the lead in programming and support on all current projects in the team and will be accountable for leading data discussions across the department as well as being the point of contact for external stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
Act as a subject matter expert within own discipline
Provide technical contribution to complex tasks
Project manage or lead the planning and execution of multiple programming activities to deliver all required outputs
Investigate new technology and initiate new directions and novel strategies
Influence the strategic planning and contribute to the direction of a project
Be the lead in targeting the automation of certain statistical analyses using R scripts

Essential Experience
Minimum of a BSc in mathematics, statistics, bioscience, computer science and a working knowledge of GxP, ICH requirements
Experienced with R, SAS programming, and script/macro code development
Experience leading multiple studies and oversight of others work
Experience with writing and applying Metadata Specifications/Derivations
Experience with products such as Python, R-Shiny, Tidyverse, SAS/GRAPH, SAS Output Delivery System, JAS
Excellent communication and presentation skills and working with both internal and external stakeholders
