Procurement Manager – Intellectual Property

An outstanding opportunity at a global, dynamic and highly respected FTSE 50 FMCG organisation.
The role has responsibility leading activities for a number of strategic new projects involving Licensing, Technologies and know-how, for huge global brands
Key experience will be in categories involving Raw Materials, Manufacturing, Packaging and liaison with contract manufacturing organisations.
Location: East Berkshire
Package: Up to 75,000 Total
Work closely with global teams in R&D, regulatory, quality and supply, to deliver the most optimal result and enable the client to continuously have innovative products in the pipeline
Ensure that suppliers are compliant with Procurement Policies and lead legal discussions in terms of contract negotiations, IPs and Royalties
Have a direct impact in corporate measurements and results such as CoGs, GM and NWC. The role has a crucial role to ensure new products launched are achieving the right financials KPIs
Participate in new projects to determine commercial suitability
Be accountable for securing optimal new supplier performance including service and quality
Secure procurement involvement from early stage of projects with deliverable commercials and timelines
Secure cradle to grave solutions with in-house opportunities or other suitable supply chain
Proven procurement management within an FMCG or Consumer Health organisation
Proven Category Management expertise, within Raw Materials/Commoditys, Manufacturing or Packaging. Experience of dealing with Contract Manufacturing organisations would also be beneficial
Degree qualified preferably in Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Business or other relevant discipline. MBA advantageous
Ability to work in a truly global organisation. Proven experience in working in a fast moving and result driven environment which demands to work under pressure.
