Government Affairs and Patient Advocacy Manager

Are you a government/public affairs professional who would be interested in joining an internationally known pharmaceutical company, supporting one of their newly-launched Immunology products?

The role will sit within an established Public Affairs team and will report directly into the Head of Public Affairs. You will be directly responsible for developing and implementing Public Affairs and Advocacy strategies within the UK and will play a key role in supporting patients in accessing the required treatments.

Other key responsibilities will include:

Stakeholder engagement & management to include stakeholder mapping and working with key policy stakeholders and patient groups to shape the external environment
Maintaining awareness of the policy environment and key influencers.
Playing an active role within the Patient Advocacy Community and championing patient centricity at all times.
Working closely with external public affairs agencies ensuring that work is delivered and completed to a high standard and within agreed budgets and timelines.

To qualify for the role, you will:

Have 4+ years of experience within public/government affairs and patient advocacy either from an in-house role within the pharmaceutical industry, an agency environment or a patient organisation.
Demonstrate a patient-centred approach with a true passion for patient advocacy.
Be able to influence, engage and build relationships with others.
Ideally have worked within any of the following therapy areas: Immunology, Dermatology or Respiratory.
