QC Analyst 

Salisbury 

Up to £28,000 per annum

18 month FTC      

CPL are currently supporting a fixed term contract hire in the Salisbury area. The role will be an 18 month contract and the key responsibilities will be to perform chemical and biochemical analysis to support pharmaceutical manufacturing activities.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Operating the QC Analytical laboratory in accordance with company safety guidelines and cGMP.

·       Ensure that testing is performed within required deadlines, data is accurately recorded, and results are interpreted in accordance with cGMP regulations.

·       Report progress and raise problems to the line manager or senior analysts.

·       Conduct testing on different materials and samples to ensure they meet approved standards.

·       Verify raw analytical data and report results from the QC analytical department.

·       Assist with laboratory housekeeping, equipment maintenance and calibration, writing SOPs, reports, and risk assessments as required.

·       Partake in quality management, recording non-conformance, implement CAPAs, and change control as required.

·       Liaise with external and internal laboratories and customers, to ensure timely sample management and testing.

·       Collaborate with colleagues to meet business, regulatory, and customer requirements. 

·       Stay up-to-date with scientific and regulatory advancements.

·       Valid Right to Work in the UK, and degree or equivalent qualification in Biochemistry/Chemistry or related subject.

·       Experience of EP and USP, cGMP, and previous experience in a similar analytical role.

·       Experience with equipment including pipettes, pH meters, and balance, and computer literacy.
