A brand new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Medical Statistician to join the R&D team at a global sized life sciences company that develops and manufactures leading-edge glucose monitoring systems and test strips for use in both home and hospital settings. The company are passionate about doing work that improves the quality of peoples lives and currently employs over 100000 people across their various locations across the globe.

Unlike traditional pharma or CRO work, you would be involved in end-to-end clinical trials for a small number of global projects that typically last from 4 to 18 months. From supporting protocol development to preparing publications, you will see the impact of your work as we continue to support the launch and growth of our FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose testing system in new markets, or for new patient populations. In addition, there is scope to provide statistical support in the development of our pipeline products. You would be joining of a vibrant, friendly and diverse team and can expect to work across a varied range of projects and statistical techniques.

We will expect you to be able to successfully;
Contribute to, or manage, a small number of projects, and work with colleagues from a range of backgrounds to explain statistical concepts to them.
In addition to your knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis for clinical research, youll need to adaptable, have a keen eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and strong team-working skills.
You will have a BSc (or higher) in Statistics or Mathematics and a good working knowledge of SAS.
