Senior Manager, Public Affairs & Patient Advocacy

An exclusive position working within the area of Gene Therapy, to be based with an innovative and growing Biotechnology company in either France or Switzerland.

After receiving their first approval last year, my client is currently entering the commercialisation stage with their first product which is set to launch across the UK and Europe. This is a truly great time to join them, having tripled in size since 2016 with plans to expand further throughout 2020.

Reporting into the Associate Director of Patient Advocacy, the role will involve:

• Building and maintaining relationships with core patient groups and policymakers
• Supporting the development of the patient advocacy strategy
• Working cross-functionally with other teams to include Medical Affairs, Communications and Government Affairs
• Acting as a key point of contact for internal & external stakeholders and patient groups

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Strong patient advocacy and public affairs experience
• Fluency in French (written and spoken) – Please note that this is an essential requirement
• The ability to negotiate policies with healthcare professionals
• Experience of networking within a policymaking environment
