The role:
This Senior Medical Writer opportunity will focus on Medical Affairs and Commercial projects, primarily within Oncology and Respiratory.
Working closely alongside the Scientific Director, you will develop and oversee the creation of high-quality content that will meet client briefs. As a Senior Writer within the team, you will lead by example, mentoring and coaching junior team members and acting as key point of contact for blue-chip pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
Requirements:
At Senior Medical Writer level, you will have at least 4-5 years of medical writing experience gained from a medical communications agency. Please note that this is essential and applicants without this will unfortunately not be considered further.
Other core criteria also include:
• Experience across a range of medcomms deliverables – including Commercial and/or Medical Affairs projects.
• Varied therapy area knowledge.
• A Scientific degree, or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• The ability to coach and mentor junior Writers, to include experience of reviewing others’ work.
