Strategy Development Project Manager (must have Project Management experience)

My client is an industry-leading supply chain solutions company who for over 30 years have provided logistics support for the life science industry, including pharmaceutical professionals, researchers, and scientists. This an incredibly exciting time for the company as they look to further develop their reach and potential and are now undertaking a large transitional period where they aim to move into new markets and locations around the globe. Essential Requirements

Proven Project Management and Programme management experience and exposure to strategic projects
Experience of delivering, leading and operationally driving projects / change either within a specialist courier environment or equivalent experience
Excellent communicator at all levels, both verbal and written, with a passion for providing service excellence
Collaborative approach, working across functional areas and cultures
Proven ability to work well under time pressure

The role:

Develop a new service to address a developing global market
Working with a sister company to establish a new entity and develop cross-selling opportunities
Open a new entity and to support the ongoing development of the business
Building a strategic relationship with a third-party company to address new parts of the market in key strategic locations
Set up new locations in an existing territory and drive operational improvement and growth on the back of these
Work with CEO and the Strategic Leadership Team to determine and manage the strategic delivery roadmap, incorporating internal strategic development projects as well as external, shareholder-driven projects whilst working operationally with the wider business to drive them
Contribute to the growth and development of the business by incorporating best practice and project delivery into the strategic delivery roadmap
Manage short and long-term project plans as a member of the management team
Build strong collaborative relationships with members of the management team and work with them to support their planning process
Manage global strategic projects so they are delivered on time, within budget and to the level of quality identified by the business
Ensure managers and teams are provided with guidance and support to identify solutions to specific identified projects which are implemented successfully through the global business.
