Study start-up Specialist
3-month contract
London based (3 days on site, 2 days remote)
£35,000-£40,000 per annum
CPL Life Sciences are actively recruiting for an experienced start-up specialist to join a leading Academic institute for an initial 3 month contract. The position will involve all start-up activities from site identification through to pre-initiation, being a supportive member of the wider clinical research team.

Key activities and responsibilities involve:
• Working within a team of study start-up specialists
• Ethic committee submissions
• Study site strategy development
• Deliver high-quality site-specific document and essential regulatory documents
• Building relationships with investigators and site staff
• Review and amend EC submissions when required
• Country/site specific Informed Consent Forms: review and negotiate as needed
• Filing of the study Essential Documents
• Main point of contact for study teams in relation to country/site plans
• Problem solve site issues
Experience required:
• Previous experience working within an academic institute or similar clinical research setting
• Strong EC submission experience
• IRAS system/amendment tool
• Strong work ethic and professional manner
• Customer/client focused skills
• Proactive with good time management
• Good attention to detail
