Are you ready for a move into a Technical Lead level position within Clinical and Statistical Programming?

We are partnering with a large Pharma who are looking for a pivotal hire as the Technical Lead who will be responsible for driving technical strategy and implementing departmental innovation solutions using cutting edge technologies and methods in emerging spaces.

Operating in the Clinical and Statistical Programming Therapeutic Area, this position focuses on research and innovation in emerging spaces. You will be responsible for identifying, exploring, developing and supporting the adoption of innovative technical solutions using cutting edge technologies and methods that increase automation, efficiency and/or quality in the data management, risk based central monitoring, statistical analysis, visualisation and regulatory submission of clinical data.

You will be designing and supporting the implementation of technical solutions for global departmental use, developing implementation plans including documentation and training materials as appropriate. You will be working with a team of R and R-shiny developers and developing enterprise level R-shiny applications and leading some of these projects. You will be accountable for providing technical project leadership and expertise in Open-source framework and will contribute to departmental innovation and process improvement projects and provide technical clinical/statistical programming expertise across multiple functional team projects.

You will have a Bachelors degree or equivalent in computer science, mathematics, data science/analytics, public health, or other relevant scientific field. An advanced Degree (Masters, PhD or equivalent) is preferred. You can demonstrate extensive programming experience with increasing responsibility and software development and testing using R and R-shiny as well as developing applications using various technical stacks not limited to SAS, R and/or Python.
Knowledge of data structures and relevant languages for data manipulation and reporting
Knowledge of industry standards such as CDISC, specifically SDTM and controlled terminology and/or ADaM.
Experience in Software Development Life cycle (SDLC).
Experience developing tools in support of business operations.
Experience working with DevOps tools and supporting cloud-based platforms
