Clinical Professionals AGM – Celebrating a Great Year as a Team
On Friday 5th June, The Clinical Professionals Group held our AGM at Pentahotel in Reading to commemorate the start of our new financial year and our 9th year of trading!
The day began with a motivational speech from Olympic Gold and Silver rower Zac Purchase. Whose funny anecdotes not only provided inspiration and entertainment, but also gave great advice on team work and leadership.
Next The Clinical Professional Group’s CEO, Yvette Cleland and COO, Glen Hall gave a presentation that marked Clinical Professional’s past achievements to date.
Including those achieved in 2015:
• 3 star accreditation as a Sunday Times Top 100
• CP shortlisted for Global Recruiter’s Best Small Recruitment Business Award
• Launch of the Graduate Academy
• Clinical Professionals Shortlisted for APSCo ‘Innovator of the Year’ Award
Afterwards was the CP Challenge. Unlike last year’s Dragon’s Den activity, this year’s featured employee’s split into random teams and going head to head with one another to answer questions about The Clinical Professional’s Group. The winning team received the much coveted team trophy, along with a day pass each, bottles of champagne and boxes of chocolates.
After lunch, the teams then had the opportunity to utilise the team work advice that Zach bestowed them in the Team Building exercises. The exercises varied from assembling a puzzle blindfolded to creating the tallest tower out of balloons.
Yvette Cleland, Clinical Professionals’ CEO, commented “The AGM was a very motivating day for me as CEO. It is great to spend time with such a highly talented and driven team of professionals who consistently stretch themselves in terms of their knowledge, drive and execution of their roles each and every day! Clinical Professionals had its most successful trading year in 2014. Success comes from the people in a business who make a decision to be the very best they can be. It is a great pleasure for Glen and I to have the privilege and pleasure of leading such an inspirational team of professionals. We will have an outstanding 2015/16 with some outstanding initiatives in place to ensure we are the GO TO staffing business for the Life Sciences sector.”
