Clinical Professionals Donate 59 Boxes to the Rotary Shoebox SchemeThe Clinical Professionals Group have donated 59 boxes to this year’s Rotary Christmas Shoebox Scheme.

Boxes were brought by Clinical Professionals, and then filled and decorated by employees, with some employees opting to fill multiple boxes.

The scheme started in 1994, and provides presents for children, teenagers, families and the elderly in Central and Eastern Europe.  Boxes are marked as either Toys, Teenagers or Household and shipped out to contacts in the relevant countries, where they are then distributed to recipients.

The Rotary Club is a UK based charity, founded in 1905, which brings together a global network of volunteer leaders who dedicate their time and talent to tackle the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges.  The charity impacts lives at both the local and international levels, from helping communities to working to address global health problems.

Clinical Professionals CEO Yvette Cleland commented: “The Clinical Professionals Group has been involved in multiple charity events in 2014.  We wanted to ensure for Xmas that we contributed to individuals less fortunate and privileged than ourselves and the Rotary Club Gift Box Scheme seemed an outstanding way of offering gifts in a more personalised way. I feel proud to be part of such a generous and spirited team.”
