Clinical Professionals donate Shoeboxes for Rotary Charity

Cp Rotary Shoe BoxThis year Clinical Professionals Group have donated over 60 boxes to the Rotary Shoebox Scheme! The boxes reach various different countries such as Ukraine, Romania and Croatia and are given to individuals who have never received any presents providing them much needed moment of happiness in their lives.

Over the past few weeks’ employees of Clinical Professionals have filled and decorated their boxes with many gifts ranging from toys, clothing, toiletries, to household essentials, school materials and luxuries.

Clinical Professionals CEO Yvette Cleland comments “Clinical Professionals have taken part in many charitable events this year, but like last year we wanted to ensure for Christmas that we contributed to children less fortunate and privileged than ourselves and the Rotary Club Gift Box Scheme last year was an outstanding way provide these gifts in a more personalised way. I am proud to be part of such a generous and spirited team.”

The entire company has really enjoyed being able to aid directly, with many employee’s this year filling multiple boxes to help out further. The Rotary Club is a UK based charity that was founded in 1905, with the goal of creating a global network of volunteer leaders who dedicate their time and effort to address the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges.  The charity positively impacts lives at both local and international levels, from helping communities to working to address global health problems.

The Rotary Club’s Shoebox scheme first began in 1994, the scheme supplies schools, companies and organisations with boxes to be filled with a selection of gifts for children and families within Eastern Europe. Participants have the option of assembling a box for children, teenagers of either gender, a household or babies.
