Clinical Professionals Group hit 75% of their Bloodwise funding goal!
At the end of last year, the Clinical Professionals Group made a decision to elect Bloodwise as their new corporate charity.
Bloodwise is our chosen charity because multiple employees were already working on raising money for them, due to having had various loved ones affected by blood cancer. Not only that, we also noted that Bloodwise fund their own clinical trials for developing cancer treatments, making Bloodwise the perfect charity for Clinical Professionals to support.
Our latest charity event was in celebration of the World Cup (and England making it to the semi-finals!).
The offices set KPI based goals for consultants to reach in orderto take part in the CP penalty shootout. In addition to the penalty shootout there was also the world cup sweepstakes in which the winner graciously opted to donate their winnings to Bloodwise.
Through the money raising and ad hoc donations on the day Clinical Professionals are delighted to announce that we raised just over £100, putting us at the 75% mark of our £5K goal for the year!
All of us at the Clinical Professionals Group are overjoyed that we have nearly reached our target already and are looking forward to many more charity events throughout the year to help do what we can for support such a fantastic cause.
Bloodwise, formerly known as Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, is one of the UK’s top charities for funding and supporting blood cancer research. It was originally set up back in 1960 by the Eastwood family after they lost their 6 year old daughter to Leukaemia.
