Clinical Professionals Sponsors BIA Webinar Series

bench to bedside social mediaThe Clinical Professionals Group are delighted to be media sponsors for a webinar series, created by the BIA’s Science and Innovation Advisory Committee (SIAC) called “Bench to Bedside”. It features 4 informative episodes that includes content put forward by industry professionals that look to explore the drug discovery process from innovation to delivery. The series is set to conclude with a panel session at the UK Bioscience Forum on 17th October.

Currently there is a strong lack of new talent within the clinical industry, quite often graduates are finding themselves stuck without an opportunity to get their first to industry role, due to a stark absence of graduate schemes and onboard training. As a result the Clinical Professionals Group set up the CP Academies programme, which features a variety of courses to address this issue.

Our First to Industry Academy was first launched for Life Sciences graduates looking to work within clinical trials research and development. The academy fully funds and trains graduates, then places them in entry level roles. To date we have placed over 200 graduates and help them kickstart their career.

Therefore webinars such as the BIA’s are essential content that can assist keeping graduates and others informed of industry processes and thereby aiding their career knowledge
