Gift Giving of the Chocolate Kind – Clinical Professionals Celebrates Easter with Local Charities
The Clinical Professionals Group have raised £110 with the aim of buying chocolate Easter eggs for children at the Rainbow Trust and at Camp Mohawk!
The Rainbow Trust is a children’s charity that was first established in 1986 that supports families who have a child aged 0-18 who have a life threatening or terminal illness. Their support provides a life line to these family and children by assisting them in a variety of different ways from cooking, cleaning, aiding bereavement and even reading storybooks to the children and siblings.
This year marks the 30-year anniversary since the charity was created and since then they have helped nearly 2,000 families across the country and are almost entirely funded by public generosity which currently raise £5.1m a year.
Camp Mohawk is a multi-functional day centre for children with special needs, just outside Wargrave, Berkshire. Throughout the year the centre provides a variety of activities and facilities, encouraging children with special needs stemming from physical or developmental disability to play, socialise and learn within a secure and caring environment.
There are variety of facilities available to the children and the families from a swimming pool, sensory garden, archery range and even workshops to teach circus skills.
We will be personally delivering the eggs to the children, ready in time for their Easter egg hunt!
“Charity has always been a strong part of Clinical Professionals internal ethos, we strongly believe in giving and aiding those less fortunate and privileged than ourselves and we look forward to many other charity events to come” Sarah Jayne, Director of Talent Acquisition
Over the Easter period Clinical Professionals will be shut from Friday 24th March to Monday 28th.
