Our Professional Services Team is one of the newest functional areas within the CP Group but has over 30 years’ collective experience within the HR, Finance, IT and Supply Chain recruitment sector.
The team features highly dedicated and committed consultants who work tirelessly to ensure high quality vacancies for their candidates and high calibre applicants for their clients.
The Professional Services Team have a highly varied client base which includes the top pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO and medical devices companies in the world. They have managed to secure and maintain lasting relationships with these clients through committed work in matching first rate candidates with exceptional vacancies at prominent clients. These include Roche, Eisai, RB, Lilly, Ferring and Parexel, amongst others.
The Professional Service Team are strong advocates of quality over quantity, and as such, conduct rigorous screening and a qualifying process to ensure pairing candidates to jobs is as accurate as possible.

Drew Jones – Managing Consultant – Finance, Supply Chain & Procurement
“I have overall responsibility for the Professional Services Team, and personally manage our Finance, Supply Chain & Procurement positions. I have worked in recruitment for 8 years, managing teams focusing on Pharmaceuticals and FMCG organisations across both permanent and contract positions. I was brought in to develop our capabilities in this space and offer a genuine USP – Professional Services Recruitment Specialists within Life Sciences across the UK and Europe.
We have the capability to recruit for all roles within this space, with over 30 years combined experience, from Clerk to Director level. We can offer a mature, knowledgeable and sensible approach, and a strong understanding of the idiosyncrasies of the Life Sciences industry and how that pertains to staffing, in direct hire, working through RPO/MSP agreements or with onsite Talent Acquisition teams.

Daniel Bennett – Managing Consultant in IT
“I head up the IT Recruitment team for all clients within the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences space. I have 6 years’ experience within recruitment having previously worked in an IT recruitment firm working with Pharma and Ecommerce clients. I was brought on board with CP to assist existing clients with their IT recruitment needs as well as develop new business opportunities with new clients within the Life Sciences space.
Clients range from small start-up biotechs to larger Pharmaceutical firms. We have placed with a broad range of clients and continue to successfully see through hiring projects for all manner of companies within the life sciences space.
We’re currently looking for a variety of Development roles in and around the Cambridge area for a number of start-ups – would be great to hear from any Software Developers/Engineer who have good exposure to Python/PHP/Ruby!”
