Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2017
Over the past couple of weeks, employees from the Clinical Professionals Group have been busy filling boxes with presents for the Rotary Club Shoebox scheme.
The Rotary Club is a UK based charity that was founded in 1905, with the goal of creating a global network of volunteer leaders who dedicate their time and effort to address the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. The charity positively impacts lives at both local and international levels, from helping communities to working to address global health problems.
Being the third year we have taken part in the scheme we are happy to announce that we have managed to fill over 40 boxes to gift those less fortunate than us this Christmas.
The scheme was first organised in 1994 to supply schools, companies and organisations 
with boxes to be filled with a selection of gifts for children and families within Eastern Europe. Those taking part have the option of assembling a box for children, teenagers of either gender, a household or babies.
Last week we also held a Christmas celebration day where we all wore our favourite Christmas jumpers and held a competition for the best Christmas cake and decoration raising money for our charity, the arrows group foundation.
Clinical Professionals Group CEO, Yvette Cleland commented:
“Our charity events always bring a fantastic level of engagement from our teams and provide fun in the work place all the while raising funds for the arrows group foundation. All of us also believe strongly into giving to those less fortunate than ourselves, the rotary box scheme has always been a great way to provide gifts in a personalised way of giving back whilst allowing us to all get into the Christmas spirit!”
Clinical Professionals will be shut from the 26th of December and will reopen on Tuesday 3rd January.
