Rob Wilson Gives Speech at Clinical Professionals’ Summer Event
Rob Wilson, Reading East’s MP and Parliamentary Private Secretary to Jeremy Hunt, joined Clinical Professionals for their company summer event on the 21st June, to give a speech on what the government are doing to improve clinical research and communications between pharmaceutical companies and the NHS.
Within the speech Rob Wilson also commented that as a “growing, thriving and world class company” he was proud to have Clinical Professionals based within his constituency.
Rob Wilson also commented on the 10 new employees that Clinical Professionals has recently hired, showing the substantial growth that Clinical Professionals has made over the past few months, and continues to make going forward.
Rob Wilson also listened to the concerns of the company, to understand the barriers Clinical Professionals are encountering when trying to grow and increase their influence across Europe.
In regards to the work the government is doing to improve clinical research trials within the UK, Rob Wilson commented that “the use of new technologies is important to the development of new, more effective treatments for NHS patients. The Government is making innovation and research a priority for NHS England. It is providing nearly £1 billion a year to help fund health research projects in the NHS.”
