RUN SUZI RUN! Clinical Professionals celebrates Easter to help raise money for Suzi Swan’s London Marathon for Bloodwise
Clinical Professionals held their annual Easter Egg Event to raise money for our corporate charity Bloodwise.
Bloodwise, is one of the UK’s top charities for funding and supporting blood cancer research. The charity fund research to help change the lives of those living with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood cancers. They provide support for both patients and their families whilst also help fund ground breaking research, most recently of which has been the revolutionary CAR-T therapy.
The Easter charity day involved the traditional Easter Egg hunt, where consultants search high and low around the office and compete against one another for the big egg prize. An organised bake sale to entice further donations and a “decorate an egg competition” that saw some creative and interesting designs from teams across the office.
The Clinical Professionals offices also held a casual dress down for the day and two employees bravely took part in a charity leg wax to raise more donations.
We are delighted to announce that we raised over £200! Smashing last years charity efforts!
All the money raised was donated to Divisional Director, Suzi Swan’s fund raising page.
Suzi will be taking part in the London Marathon again this year and is hoping to beat her previous best time of 4 hours and 33 minutes!
The marathon is a long distance running event held every year in London and is part of the World Marathon Majors. It was first held in 1981 and runs over a largely flat course around the river Thames, spanning 42.2km (26.2 miles).
The Clinical Professionals Group not only support Bloodwise due to our direct involvement in Life Science industry, but also as various employees have been directly affected by blood cancer, making it a cause very special to us as an organisation.
